The Royal Mint has recently released the Falcon of the Plantagenets from the popular Queen's Beasts Series in 1 oz .9995 platinum. This the sixth release in the series.
The coin’s reverse depicts Philip Nathan’s classic design of Britannia standing firm in the eye of the storm in a display of unyielding resolve and strength. Britannia appears against a radial sunburst design, adding to the beauty of the design and offering anti-counterfeiting protection. The reverse also includes the issue year, fineness and weight of the coin.
